About

Mario Acosta-Warren graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the most prestigious Art School in the country, on May 15th 2018. He is an aspiring Filmmaker and Artist, with a Bachelor’s degree in fine Arts, expertise in Painting, Animation, Writing, Directing, Editing, Photography, and Coding, with a background in Comics, Electronic games, Music and Martial Arts. By teachers and coworkers he is considered an experienced, disciplined, innovative, and devoted worker and volunteer with endless creative  ideas and visions.

SKILLS: Mario Speaks English, Spanish, some Japanese and some Swedish. He is Proficient in Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator, Skilled in editing software, coding in Processing and computers. He has experience with software such as Blender, Maya and Real Flow, Digital Drawing, Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Clarinet player. He is Knowledgeable and is passionate about Comics, Film, Video Games,Television. Copywriting.

Internships at Gobos Film and Entertainment, Chicago IL 07/05/16-03/30/21. Reviewing scripts and  books for film and television development.

Quriosity Productions, Chicago IL 07/01/16-08/01/16 Responsible for editing videos for commercials.

The Mill, Chicago IL 05/23/16-06/3/16. Worked primarily on CGI for commercials for Babybel cheese.  

CG Cookie 3D modeling Company, Overland Park KS 06/01/15-08/26/15. Educational course for 3D modeling  

Participant, Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy, Chicago IL, 07/02/12-07/06/12. Graphic Design program focused on design and editing projects with the  use of programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator.  

Participant, Field Museum, Chicago IL, 07/16/12-07/20/12. Program resulted in the production of a documentary video, and being  responsible for writing, filming and editing. The film won a competition and was featured in an  exhibition at the Museum.  

Participant, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, Chicago IL, 07/23/12-07/27/12 A program in which the attendees were tasked with creating a model of a  house of their own design following the style used by Frank Lloyd Wright.  

Intern, Teen Lab, Chicago IL, 10/01/12-04/18/13. Internship for a Digital Media program at the Art Institute of Chicago.  

Leadership Counselor, Lincoln Park Cultural Center, Chicago IL, 06/01/07-08/01/07. The assignments varied from those of Wrightwood Park, as they included  several other tasks such as preparing food for the campers, and acting as lifeguards during visits  to the beach.
